Advocacy in National Green Tribunal | Three Day Workshop Series | (October 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2024.)

The Final Stand (TFS), in collaboration with the Environmental Law Clinic at JGLS, conducted a 3-day NGT workshop, focusing on enhancing participants’ legal drafting skills, specifically within the framework of the National Green Tribunal (NGT).

On October 11th, a pre-Trial Phase Workshop was conducted focusing on the critical preparatory work required before the commencement of litigation, including filing RTIs and gathering evidence, laying the groundwork for a successful case.

On October 12th, the workshop on Document Drafting & Courtroom Procedure covered the drafting of essential legal documents, such as contempt petitions, affidavits, and reply statements.

On October 13th, the workshop on Enforcement of Orders & Appellate Mechanism focused on the enforcement of NGT orders and the procedural aspects of appeal
