Co-Hosted a Panel Discussion on ‘COP: Scope, Workings, and Challenges’ in Collaboration with GPODS Fellowship

The Final Stand hosted a webinar in partnership with the Global Policy, Diplomacy, and Sustainability (GPODS), a program for public policy practitioners, business professionals, energy and climate change experts, entrepreneurs, academicians, scholars, and strategic analysts to act as a launchpad for their careers. The webinar titled, 'COP: Scope, Workings and Challenges' was held on the 8th of January 2022 and gave our listeners a multi-perspective take on the happenings at the COP and what we as ordinary citizens can reasonably expect from the negotiations. Our esteemed panellists, Prof. Eeshan Chaturvedi (Founder-Director, EnviPol), Mr. Vivek Saxena (Indian Forest Services officer | MD, Haryana Forest Development Corporation, Panchkula) , Ms. Jasmine Mehta (SG Corporate Sales - EMEA, MSCI & Chair, Indian Women in International Relation) and Ms. Gayatri Raghwa (Education Consultant, UNEP India Office) came from four distinct backgrounds and thus provided very unique perspectives on the role of the COP in climate-change mitigation. The session was moderated by Shalini Prem (President of The Final Stand) and Srishti (Public Diplomacy and Outreach Manager- GPODS)  widely appreciated by our audience of nearly a hundred listeners.
